GelliAur  is a Visit Wales 4 Star rated holiday cottage and has been awarded a gold award  scoring 100% for excellent feedback in  2009.FfynnonLwyd is awaiting grading result.Our cottages offer our guests a relaxing holiday in the  beautiful  Carmarthenshire countryside in a safe environment for children to play outdoors well away from traffic and the general  public.

Both our cottages are located on different parts of our smallholding  and offer the visitor different types of accommodation, from Gelli Aur which is a new build and ideal for families and larger groups sleeping 10 people in comfort, to Ffynnon Lwyd which is isolated and is a traditional welsh country cottage ideal for small groups and couples sleeping 4.

We are located approx 10 miles from the county town of Carmarthen which makes us a convenient base for exploring the whole county of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokshire. We are only 24 miles from the tourism hotspot of Tenby and we are an ideal location for touring the Preseli Mountains, local castles, theme parks and the home of Wales’ greatest poet Dylan Thomas.

Further east from us is the stunning Gower Peninsular with its amazing beaches and ancient monuments, also not far away is the Brecon Beacons National Park with its rugged upland environment

We are Ideally located for walkers with many local walks in the uplands of the Breacon Beacons and coastal walks along the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park which is within a reasonable distance.  Also enjoy the sandy beaches at Pendine, Tenby and Saundersfoot or the many beautiful coves and scenery along the coast of Cardigan Bay.

For fun family day trips visit Folly Farm and Oakwood Theme Park. The National Botanical Gardens and romantic Aberglasney Gardens are within easy driving distance.
